BOB GALLICO - Ireland's leading News Broadcaster in the 1980's on Radio Nova.
Radio in Ireland was completely changed by events from the early 70's, which led to the beginning of pirate radio. It's thought that "Captain" Eamon Cooke was the first to set up an illegal station in Ireland.
This site is about keeping the rich Irish pirate history alive. After all, it is as important to our culture as any other historical events. New generations of Irish people should know how our broadcast culture evolved.
